Tucked in the hills of the Misty Mountain area, this renovated cabin is ideally located near Downtown Blowing Rock (5 miles), Moses Cone Park (4.5 miles), Blue Ridge Parkway (5 miles), Appalachian Ski Mountain (8.7 miles), Boone (11 miles), and the endless number of attractions the High Country has to offer.
Although located so close to Town and many of the High Country's favorite spots, you will enjoy the peace, quiet, and privacy of this home. With two great porches to relax on, or enjoying time with family and friends around the fire pit, you may want to stay at home! The back covered deck offers great views of Grandfather Mountain and is the perfect spot to catch the amazing sunsets.
This cabin features 5 bedrooms and 4 full baths, and 1 half bath. The main living area is easily accessible for most people, as there are only 2 small steps to maneuver to get inside. The main level has 3 bedrooms (2 with king beds and 1 with a queen bed), 2.5 baths, laundry, kitchen, living, and dining. The open concept of the kitchen/dining/living area is perfect for easy living and entertaining.
The lower level you will find 2 additional bedrooms (1 king bed and 1 bedroom with twin beds), a Game/TV room, a mud room, a fire pit bar/coffee service room, and a garage.
Cooking at home is a breeze in the fully equipped kitchen. Basic condiments, spices, coffee filters, paper towels, dishwashing soaps, etc., are provided. There is a toaster, waffle maker, crockpot, blender, mixers, and coffee pot for your convenience. There is also a gas grill on the back deck for your use.
Enjoy the private yard from the fire-pit (with seating for 6) or relax in the hot tub on the lower deck. Lower-level 'fire-pit' bar with refrigerator, sink, and hot beverage service.

There is parking for 5 – 6 cars between the upper parking pad and lower lower-level driveway. Old Johns River Rd. is a dead-end road, so there is very little traffic and plenty of nice walks right out the front door. Gragg Heights Cr. is a private road and has a steep incline on both ends of the ‘circle’, which may require a vehicle that can handle snowy conditions at times during the winter.

4/1 -6/31 $250/night 3 night minimum. $1,500 /week
7/1 - 12/31 $275/ night 3 night minimum. $1,650/week
1/1 - 3/31 $250/night 3 night minimum. $1,100/week
